Thursday commodity market rankings 8/9/18, By Brad King
There are a few notable changes since I last wrote here. Most significant is the feeder cattle making my buy list today. This is happening with a possible bullish reversal in lean hogs. If short hogs, hold your current position - it should be out of the money now. We have had many chances to roll down hog puts over the last several weeks.
Cotton has not done much recently, which has dropped option volatility. I am recommending adding some exposure now. You can do the same with Swiss Franc puts and 30 year bond puts.
